SpiceJet announces the launch of new direct flights

Spicejet has announced new flights from Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Gorakhpur, Patna, Amritsar & Darbhanga. The schedule of the new flights are:

Lufthansa Group offers more flexible rebooking options:

The Lufthansa group has announced Flexible Travel with free of charge rebooking through 28 February 2021. Emirates Dubai Special Offer: Free hotel nights and additional baggage allowance

Passengers who book return ticket to Dubai from 2 December to 23 December 2020 for travel from 6 December 2020 to 28 February 2021 will be eligible for a complimentary one night stay on their first night in Dubai (Economy class) or two nights stay from the day of arrival (First and Business class) at the JW Marriott Marquis.

Passengers returning to Emirates destinations in North and South America or Africa get one complimentary additional piece of luggage. Those travelling to other destinations within Emirates network can take advantage of an additional 10 kilograms baggage allowance.

Qatar Airways and Air Canada Sign Codeshare Agreement

Qatar Airways announced a new codeshare agreement with Air Canada. The agreement comes into effect from 15th December for travel between Doha and Toronto.

Qatar Airways Group CEO Akbar Al Baker explained how the move will benefit the airline’s passengers. He shared that there will be better connectivity for those traveling between Canada and destinations in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East where Qatar has a strong presence.

Oman reopens to international tourism with resumption of visa services

On 30th November, 2020, the government of Oman issued a statement that it would begin issuing tourist visas once again for visitors who organize their travel through tourism companies. As of 8th December, 2020, the authorities in charge of issuing visas to visitors have resumed services and are now accepting visa applications. It has been officially announced by Oman's Ministry of Tourism that visitors will no longer be required to quarantine for 7 days, once their PCR test upon arrival returns a negative result.

Citywise list of Missions and Visa Categories that VFS has restarted

With borders gradually opening around the world, VFS Global has started re-opening its Visa Application Centers and resuming services in India. Visa applications for around 35 countries have resumed at select centers across India.
