This National Park covers approximately 1020 sq.kms of rainforest, bamboo, grassland, swamps and bogs; and is one of the last mountain rainforest habitats on the planet.A stay here gets you closer to over 13 different species of primate, lush and diverse habitats of Chimpanzees and various other endangered species of monkey.  The Nyungwe House is built within a working tea plantation of Gisakura deep within the heart of the forest.
