The new Portrait Firenze is a tribute to the timeless luxury of haute couture, with its colors, materials and details. On the north bank of the Arno a few steps east of the Ponte Vecchio, the location is as good as it gets and the watery views of the river and the famous bridge are splendid. A small alley leads to Caffe Dell’Oro, a light-flooded space dressed in white brick, dark wood and soft greys, with large windows overlooking the riverbank of Arno. Offering a selection of dishes inspired by authentic Italian culinary traditions. Public areas are limited to the reception/sitting room and the restaurant; the suites are so large and well-equipped. There is no spa, but guests can order an in-room massage or wander round the corner to the Ferragamo Continentale’s White Iris spa for a treatment.
